Kate Ruberry-Shoemack

Kate Ruberry-Shoemack is Head of People and Communication at Rygor Group, a UK Automotive company. Kate is passionate about internal communications and employee engagement, striving to put employees at the heart of organisations. Kate believes in actively searching for ways to do things better, to focus more on employee engagement and continue to promote the necessity of thoughtful and strategic IC. In 2022, Kate was responsible for the winning IOIC ‘Grand Prix’ award entry, also helped her workplace become Great Place to Work™ certified and make the UK Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list in 2023. In her spare time, Kate practices yoga, reads and bakes…but as a full-time working parent, she finds she actually has very little ‘spare’ time to do any of these things, with her beautiful toddler running around! As a woman working in the motor industry, Kate’s committed to highlighting career opportunities for women in the sector and supporting them in their progression.
